About the Call

Call for Proposal (CFP) for responsible organizations, civil society organizations/consortia, to design and implement a support program for the economic empowerment and reintegration of women in contact with the criminal justice system in the Republic of Moldova.

Who Can Apply

UN Women invites proposals that will support at least 50 women in contact with the criminal justice system, including:

• women in detention and preparing for release,
• women under probation supervision,
• women serving non-custodial sentences or community measures,
• women released from detention,
• women receiving support from specialized social services or NGOs.

What is Funded

The program will combine:

• assessments of individual needs and employability capacities,
• career guidance,
• employability coaching,
• training and retraining opportunities,
• job matching,
• support for income-generating activities,
• support for livelihoods and entrepreneurship,
• referrals to relevant services,
• targeted assistance tailored to the needs and reintegration pathways of women.

Deadlines

The total budget available for this call is up to USD 120,000.00. Implementation is expected to start in July 2026 and be completed by July 2027.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 16, 2026, 12:00 PM (GMT+2:00).
